About Us

FirePlotter is developed by Guardian Internet Support Services (UK) Limited (or simply, GISS). GISS are also specialists in the provision of Cisco or FortiNet Firewall technologies and support services to customers in the UK and worldwide (see www.giss-uk.com).

FirePlotter was initially developed to provide a tool for GISS customers to monitor their internet traffic, internal users, and bandwidth usage in real-time.

Some credit for some of the ideas behind FirePlotter goes to NetGuard's GuardianPro Firewall (for Windows NT) that featured a similar, but not as flexible real-time monitor in the late 1990s.
